形態特徵

Biennial or perennial herbs; stems to 1.5m tall, simple or branched, hispid.
Leaves lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, basal and lower stem leaves 5–11 cm long, 1–3 cm wide, decreasing in size upward, base gradually tapering, sometimes semiamplexicaulous, apex acute, margin entire; hispid on both surfaces, densest along veins, hairs on upper surface with (0-)1–4 cycles of calcified accessory cells.
Cymes terminal and subterminal, mostly paired, divaricate; pedicels 1–2 mm long, hispid. Calyx 1–2 mm long, hispid. Corolla whitish blue, 2–4 mm long, 3–5 mm in diam., tube shorter than calyx; fornices transversely linear. Filaments very short, anthers below froncies. Style ca. 1 mm long; stigma small, indistinct.
Nutlets subglobose, 2–3 mm in diam., dorsally slightly convex, evenly glochidiate.

台灣 : roadsides and forest edges in hilly places.
世界 : Widely distributed in warmer regions of the Old World.
